When stiring a hot cup of tea, coffee etc., the sound is high pitched and gets deeper as you stir?

Its because the cup is heating up from pouring in the hot water, and as you stir the liquid at the same time the sound gets deeper. The sound doesn't do this again because the cup is already hot!
