Answer It's because the memory card is locked. Take out the card and there is this little piece on the side of the card that is probably white. Slide it, and it will probably fix it.

Answer My understanding is that an SD card is an SD card, no matter what the use is. The difference is what data is stored on it. (eg. Photos or music)
