Answer Yes, its called occlusal trauma. Basically you hurt your tooth when you bit down on that cookie. It should heal back to normal if you simply bruised your ligament. I wouldn't worry about it.

Pain just above my belly button, it comes and goes not a sharp pain though?

It is most likely trapped gas. try eating a peppermint to see if it helps..................
