 Prong fused with overload coupling in small electrical fire, can I fix?

Answer Do you own a dremel tool? If so a small grinder wheel would probably work best to file that right off....if not a regular file would do too...but take longer.

Can you use some sort of adaptor or convertor to plug regular small appliances into an three-prong oven outlet?

Answer Assuming this is one with a big plug with one L-shaped prong and the other set at an angle - NO! Don't even think about doing this!
