Answer Not necessarily. No pain is good. If the teeth weren't that difficult to remove then that will help a lot. Follow your post op instructions though or you may get a dry socket and that will hurt.

It's most likely gum bruising from the pressure the dentist needs to use to remove a tooth. It's quite normal and the pain will subside before too long..
