 Can you use peel and stick carpet on top of regular carpet?

Answer You would be better off buying a rug or a large piece of carpet remnant if you don't want to take the original carpet up. The peel and stick won't stick and you would end up with a tripping hazard.

No, the carpet pad moves far to much and your tile will look loose and crooked in a very short amount of time. Also, the carpet pad will not allow the adhesive to bond to it.
