 Camera lens fogged up... from inside?

Answer what i did is put mine in a bag of rice, its what you do if you get your cellphone wet also, the rice sucks up the water like no other!!!! and i got the water out

My lens for my camera got wet there was some condensation inside but it is now gone it is an auto-focus long range lens for Nikon D-80 can i still use the lense or should i just get a new one?
